The Amherst College women’s lacrosse team’s impressive 2014 NCAA Championship run came to an end Saturday in an 8-4 loss to No. 2 Salisbury in the Final Four. Among the many highlights of the season include a program-record 19 wins, a semifinal appearance for the first time since 2004, and two All-American recipients (Alex Philie ‘14 and Krista Zsitvay ‘14). The Jeff’s had a busy day in Gettysburg, which featured a community outreach event with the Special Olympics, practice, a visit to the Gettysburg Battlefield, and the NCAA Awards banquet. Check out the gallery from Day 1, filled with practice photos and more.
The Jeffs just wrapped up practice at Clark Field and took the bus to the Gettysburg Battlefield to poise in front of the Massachusetts monument. Just 24 hours until game time!
